Departure at 9.00 a.m. from Agropoli. At 10.00 visitof the historical center of S.Biase and of the parrish church to admire the frescoes discovered in 1998. The first official mention of this church is of the 9th century. According to the historian Pietro Ebner, some greek monks from Velia, built in this place “lo Spedale”. Afterwards the church was enlarged; the present shape dates back to the 19th century. At 11.00 a.m. we will have a walk along the banks of Palistro river to visit the canal which carries water to the tank storing the water of an ancient mill. At 12.00 a.m. we will visit this still working mill which dates back to the 17th century, guided by the owner Luigi Romanelli who will show the implant and the production processes of the flour.
